1.0 DUTIES:

1.1 Regular Duties:

1.1.1 Responsible for maintaining, repairing, modifying, renovating and construction of plumbing distribution and fixtures steam distribution and heating. Performs all required inspections, testing, preventative maintenance and training or personnel.

1.1.2 Oversees all plumbing activity in the hotel facility and properties.

1.1.3 Uses blueprints, sketches and drawings to renovate, construct and install facilities and/ or equipment.

1.1.4 Inspects major piping systems and sub-systems regularly and performs preventive maintenance and repairs as required, in compliance with established standards and codes as related to renovation and construction work.

1.1.5 Operates, maintains and repairs such equipment as boilers, pipes, pipe fittings, and fixtures, air compressors, pumps, reducing stations, traps, valves and heaters, gas and oxygen lines in areas that are renovated or constructed.

1.2 Occasional Duties:

1.2.1 Assists with operation and maintenance of ventilating and air conditioning systems of renovation and construction work.

1.2.2 Assists in general maintenance buildings and grounds as directed.

1.3 Performs other duties as may be directed by the immediate superior. (Does not apply to top management.)

2.0 QUALIFICATIONS:

2.1 Education

2.1.1 Certified master plumber/ vocational course in industrial technology.

2.1.2 At least 2-year vocational course or college level. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Electronics, *INDUSTRIAL, Mechanical or equivalent with emphasis on plumbing facilities management and a Licensed Electrical engineer an advantage.

2.2 Work Experience/s:

2.2.1 At least 1 to 2 years working experience as Plumber.

2.3 Special Qualities/ Skills Required:

2.3.1 Must have good communication skills

2.3.2 Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.

2.3.3 Must be highly motivated and result-oriented.

2.3.4 Must have good understanding and planning skills in plumbing $ piping systems.
