About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Hospitality Resources Inc' in Mactan Lapu-Lapu City Cebu. As Duty Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel, overseeing the day-to-day activities and serving as the main point of contact for guests and staff. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments are functioning efficiently and effectively
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise and providing excellent customer service
  • Manage and coordinate the work of front desk staff, housekeeping, and other hotel personnel to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, making necessary orders and optimising resource utilisation
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance the overall guest experience
  • Liaise with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to support the hotel's strategic objectives
  • Handle emergency situations and make decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements to the management team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar Duty Manager or Front Office Manager role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of handling challenging situations
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and technologies, such as property management systems and point-of-sale systems
  • Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team of hotel staff
  • Knowledge of the Opera system operation
