What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures to meet or exceed industry standards
  2. Overseeing quality control inspections and testing at all stages of the manufacturing process
  3. Analysing quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancement
  4. Collaborating with production, engineering, and other teams to resolve quality issues in a timely manner
  5. Providing training and guidance to quality assurance staff to maintain and improve their skills
  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  7. Preparing detailed reports and presenting quality data to senior management

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  2. Thorough understanding of quality management principles, including statistical process control, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action
  3. Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance systems and procedures
  4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Proficient in using quality management software and data analysis tools
  7. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
