About ITRA

Founded in July 2013, the International Trail Running Association (ITRA) promotes trail running's values, diversity, safety, and sustainability. As a global NGO, ITRA fosters the sport's development and facilitates dialogue between national and international bodies involved in trail running.

What You'll Do

Project & Vendor Management

  • Plan and deliver small to mid-sized digital and IT projects on time, within scope and budget
  • Define project scopes, timelines, KPIs, and success metrics
  • Manage relationships with offshore web development teams and external AWS service providers
  • Monitor deliverables, ensure quality control, and manage platform improvement roadmaps

Technical & Data Leadership

  • Guide implementation of secure, scalable technical architecture (primarily AWS-based)
  • Support integration and application of AI tools to analyze and activate member databases
  • Identify user behavior trends and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Lead and collaborate with small teams of internal and external contributors
  • Promote agile working methods and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Advocate for data-informed decision-making across digital, product, and marketing functions

Digital Performance & Business Analysis

  • Gather and analyze business requirements to shape functional specifications
  • Continuously optimize workflows, user experience, and data governance practices
  • Monitor and report on platform metrics and user engagement
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital project management or IT operations
  • Proven ability to manage small to mid-sized digital projects from planning to delivery
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple timelines, resources, and priorities
  • Extensive vendor coordination experience, particularly with web development and hosting providers
  • Experience with technical architecture, ideally focused on AWS components and infrastructure
  • Ability to translate data findings into actionable project decisions
  • Experience with website development cycles, applying Agile and Scrum methodology in remote teams
  • Solid understanding of AI tools (e.g., DeepSeek) and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong ability to work independently in remote, international settings
  • Passion for trail running and outdoor sports is a strong advantage
