Job Title: Machine Operator (Machinist)

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining machines used in the production of steel bars. The role ensures that machines run efficiently, products meet quality standards, and production targets are achieved while following safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production machines for steel bar manufacturing.
  • Set up machines according to specifications and adjust settings as needed.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Record production output and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Follow company safety rules and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
  • Assist in other production-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or vocational course in machining, mechanical technology, or related field.
  • Experience as a Machinist or Machine Operator in a factory setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of basic machine operations and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in Biñan, Laguna.

Preferred Attributes:

  • TESDA NC II or equivalent certification (Machining or related field) is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and responsible.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
