Job Description

  • Designs machine parts, dies, jigs, fixtures and special tools
  • Assists in diagnosing die failures and premature die life incidences and creating technical reports
  • Participates in process improvement as necessary
  • Maintains the confidentiality and security of all company designs and drawings
  • Uses company design equipment properly and appropriately
  • Leads the adherence of all design activities to company ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a mechanical design role in a metal manufacturing company
  • Preferably experience working in an ISO 9001 company
  • Proficient in MS Office applications particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.
  • Knowledgeable in Computer Aided Design (CAD) using Solidworks 2015 or later and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) using Delcam 2015 or later.
  • Must be willing to handle challenging situations and work under pressure
