About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Head to join our dynamic team at Multi Development And Construction Corporation (MDCC). As the Engineering Head, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering operations and leading a team of talented professionals. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, where you will contribute to the strategic direction and successful delivery of our construction projects.What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee the entire bidding process, including preparation of proposals, cost estimation, and submission of tenders, Bidding, BOM, technical and design, post contract.Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering team to ensure the successful completion of construction projects

Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of engineering activities to meet project requirements and specifications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution

Develop and implement engineering policies, procedures, and best practices to drive efficiency and quality

Identify and manage engineering risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success

Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and budgets to senior management

Mentor and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

What we're looking for

Relevant bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior engineering or project management role within the construction and fit out industry

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams in the delivery of complex construction projects

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes

Proficient in project management tools and techniques, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
