What you'll be doing

  1. Design and develop innovative mold solutions to meet production requirements
  2. Analyse mold performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mold designs align with engineering specifications and customer needs
  4. Conduct mold trials and testing to validate performance and identify areas for optimization
  5. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mold-related issues during production
  6. Maintain detailed documentation and records of mold designs, modifications, and performance data
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mold engineering

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mold Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  3. Proven expertise in mold design, simulation, and optimization techniques
  4. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Experience in CAD / CAM, CNC, EDM, Wire Cut, Design, Milling, Grinding, Polishing, Fitting, Assembly is preferable
  7. Familiarity with injection molding processes, materials, and equipment
  8. Budget, expense control, cost reduction, and team management
