  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role, preferably in a luxury or high-end restaurant
  • Proficiency with reservation systems and basic POS knowledge is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Guest Reception and Greeting:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming and elegant first impression that reflects the brand.
  • Assist guests with entry, coat check, and other immediate needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared-for.
  • Provide an overview of the menu and offerings if needed and answer any questions.

Reservations Management:

  • Manage reservations using the restaurant's reservation system, ensuring accuracy and organization for optimal seating arrangements.
  • Confirm reservations and handle special requests, including dietary preferences, celebrations, or group accommodations.
  • Update the reservation system with changes, cancellations, and guest preferences to provide a personalized experience.

Seating and Coordination:

  • Guide guests to their tables with professionalism and poise, coordinating seating flow to ensure efficient service.
  • Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and managers to maintain smooth, coordinated operations and accommodate guest preferences.
  • Manage waitlists during peak hours, providing accurate wait times and keeping guests informed.

Customer Service and Communication:

  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and courteously, ensuring each guest feels valued.
  • Communicate effectively with the service team to relay special requests, VIP guests, or specific needs.
  • Maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude at all times, upholding the restaurant commitment to exceptional service.

Administrative Support:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries regarding reservations, events, or general restaurant information.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as menu updates, reservation logs, and guest records.
  • Support the management team with various front-of-house tasks as needed.

Hygiene and Presentation:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area, ensuring it reflects the restaurant standard.
  • Wear the uniform properly and adhere to the company's grooming standards to represent the brand elegantly.
