We are currently hiring a motivated and working on large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and railways/light rail systems.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Surveying/Engineering (4 years course)
  • Excellent English communication skills(spoken, written and listening).
  • Experience on large-scale infrastructure construction (roads, bridges, rail or light rail).
  • Ability to drive a car in traffic properly and safely.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Surveying.
  • Current with drivers' license.
  • Ability to work cooperatively under a Senior Surveyor and as part of the team.
  • Demonstrated reasonable level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred requirements:

  • 3 years experience as Surveyor or Survey Assistant.
  • Experience in working on large-scale construction sites.
  • Knowledge of the latest surveying technology and instruments.
  • Leica instrument and 12D Model/12D Field experience.

Surveying

  • Perform construction fieldwork and site office work in accordance with the company and project plans, Quality Manuals; relevant Authority Specification and the relevant statutory regulations and directions governing survey activity.
  • Ensure survey work is carried out efficiently.
  • Ensure survey data is backed up by and archived in accordance with the company Quality System and the site procedures.
  • Ensure only latest design information is used.
  • Ensure reports and work-as-executed plans are completed and delivered to client in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with client representative or your Manager regarding changing project requirements.

Administrative

  • Ensure weekly submission of timesheets and client dockets is completed correctly and on time.
  • Respond promptly to voicemails, emails and SMS messages from Managers and Administration and Accounts staff.
  • Participate promptly in feedback surveys.
  • Participate in the ongoing development of Quality Assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with company business systems including, but not limited to, the correct use of Leave Applications and Expense Forms through NetSuite ESS.

Staff Development

  • Attend staff meetings and training when requested.
  • Attend staff training when requested.
  • Participate in the performance review process.
  • Provide management feedback regarding training required.

Equipment

  • Ensure any vehicle under your control is kept clean and routinely serviced.
  • Ensure any equipment under your control is maintained, calibrated and in good working condition.
  • Ensure any movement of assets, i.e. cars or equipment from or to your possession is documented in the Asset App.

Safety

  • Perform your work only when safe to do so.
  • Follow safe work practices at all times.
  • Notify your Manager or Client Representative if you are exposed to any risk or hazards that has not been assessed and mitigated.
  • Comply with site and company safety rules, Safety Management Plans, Safe Work Method Statements, Job Safety Analyses.
  • Promote safe working procedures amongst colleagues and co-workers.
