Field Supervisor: oversee and manage field operations, ensuring effective supervision of merchandising activities, timely reporting, compliance with company policies, and strong coordination with store representatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Ensure on-time submission of the following reports:
  • Weekly Inventory Reports (CSL)
  • On-Shelf Availability (OSA)
  • SOTEX Reports
  • Competitor Activity Reports
  • Price Monitoring
  • New Product / Packaging Availability
  • Promotional Activities (e.g., Bundling)
  • Submit updated weekly manning reports and workplans

Merchandising & Store Execution:

  • Implement and monitor compliance with required plan-o-grams
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of promotional activities
  • Improve and maintain product facing across stores
  • Oversee installation and monitoring of POP materials, when applicable
  • Maintain strong working relationships with store representatives and merchandisers

Product Handling & Stock Monitoring:

  • Enforce FIFO/FEFO inventory methods
  • Monitor and report on near expiry items, damaged goods, and out-of-stock items effectively

Team & Attendance Management:

  • Ensure 100% monitoring of merchandiser attendance
  • Respond promptly (100%) to calls or directives from the immediate head
  • Proactively deploy replacement merchandisers or relievers prior to the end of contract
  • Monitor and address absences, tardiness, and overall field team performance
  • Ensure attendance and participation in all scheduled meetings

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain discipline and integrity in day-to-day operations

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in field supervision, merchandising, or retail operations
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent time management
  • Proficient in report preparation and data analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach
