Accountant - Day Shift

We design and deliver high-quality sleep products and services that help our customers rest better and live healthier.Position SummaryWe are looking for a highly organized and detailed‐driven Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Finance Department across a variety of areas including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, month end closing support, and ad-hoc tasks. This position is perfect for someone who excels in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and is passionate about helping a mission‑oriented company grow sustainably and with integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesMonthly Close & ReportingSupport monthly entities closing by the 8th of the following month.Maintain and execute the monthly closing checklist to ensure nothing is missed.Perform a self‑review of all financial reports before submission.Answer any questions or resolve issues from the Finance Manager (FM) or CFO in a timely manner.Invoicing & Accounts Receivable (AR)Issue invoices to all manual customers.Review Resdent invoicing and ensure accuracy.Accurately maintain all AR records.Daily reconciliation of receipts.Follow up with overdue customers.Send weekly email reports to management summarizing AR status, outstanding receivables and issues.Inventory ManagementEnsure monthly stock counts are performed.Perform variance analysis.Monitor inventory on hand levels, forecast usage, and suggest re‑ordering thresholds/actions.Accounts Payable (AP)Daily bank reconciliation.Record all AP invoices received from suppliers in a timely manner.Prepare weekly payment run proposal / schedule for approval.Ensure AP is properly matched, coded, approved and that payment timelines are observed.Maintain bank correct balances and corporate cardsPayroll & Statutory ComplianceEnsure all employees are paid on time across Australia, USA, Singapore, and the Philippines (or your list of jurisdictions).Maintain and track all payroll inputs / deductions properly.Ensure all payroll related statutory (tax, insurance, contributions, etc.) requirements are met.Track deadlines for filings, payments, reporting; ensure timely submissions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA / ACCA / etc.) preferred but not always required depending on experience.Proven experience (3 years) in full‐cycle accounting, especially month‑end close, accounts receivable & payable, payroll, and inventory control.Familiarity with multiple country payroll & statutory requirements.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to spot discrepancies.Good communication skills; able to interact with management (FM / CFO) and resolve queries.Strong organizational and time‑management skills; must meet deadlines.Proficiency with accounting systems / ERPs; advanced Excel skills.Why Join Good Sleep CoBe part of a mission-driven company improving people's health and wellbeing.Collaborative, innovative, and supportive team culture.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.How to Apply:If you're excited to join a company passionate about improving sleep and wellness, please send your resume and cover letter to Only applications sent to this email will be entertained.We look forward to hearing from youJob Type: Full-timePay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per monthBenefits:Work from homeWork Location: Remote
