Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant course
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant and/or US CMA, but not required
  • Must have at least 1 year of US General Accounting or US Bookkeeping experience, preferably in a professional services or CPA firm environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entry processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and/or
  • Experience with UltraTax and SurePrep is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
  • Willing to work the night shift

Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Match and reconcile monthly credit card statements with supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and review financial statements or account statements as required.
  • Enter WIP (Work-in-Progress) charges such as UltraTax, SurePrep, 1099, and other firm-related services using established templates and protocols.
  • Process and record RPSG (Retirement Plan Support Group) or related payments accurately.
  • Assist with preparing and entering journal entries (J/Es) as directed by the Controller.
  • Support billing processes, including invoice generation, client billing adjustments, and data entry.
  • Provide administrative and accounting support for the Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) team as needed.
