Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy or any relevant degree
  • CPA is an advantage but not required
  • Experience with GoSystem Tax is highly desirable
  • Experience handling Investment Management funds, such as mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, or other types of investment funds
  • At least 3 years of experience in preparing and reviewing US pass-through entities (Partnership and S corporation: Forms 1065 and 1120S)
  • Preparation of partnership and S corporation income tax returns
  • Experience in the preparation of partnership withholding forms including Form 1042 and Form 8804
  • Experience in the preparation of foreign fillings Forms 5471, 8621, and 8865
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Amenable to work in a Hybrid set-up
  • Willing to work the night shift

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of partnership and S corporation income tax returns
  • Preparation of foreign filings including Forms 5471, 8621, and 8865
  • Preparation of partnership withholding forms including Forms 1042 and Form 8804
  • Preparation of partnership capital accounts and allocations
  • Analysis of securities transactions including wash sales, constructive sales, straddles, and qualified dividends
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
  • Build and manage effective working relationships with clients
  • Demonstrate professionalism
  • Perform other tax special project, consulting, accounting, and/or tasks as assigned.
