About the Role:
Golden Roast Chicken Inc. is looking for a hands-on, operationally grounded Training Officer to join our team. This position plays a key role in building, implementing, and managing effective training programs that drive service excellence, operational discipline, and people development in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

This is not a desk-bound, documentation-only role. We need someone who understands store operations, can work closely with both Back-of-House and Front-of-House teams, and is capable of turning training from a checklist into a behavior-changing system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute operational training programs tailored for FOH and BOH teams.

  • Conduct regular field visits and hands-on coaching sessions in stores.

  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through performance audits and behavior checks.

  • Collaborate with operations and HR teams to identify skill gaps and training needs.

  • Lead the creation of the company's official training manuals and competency standards from scratch.

  • Support the HR team in integrating training systems with operational compliance and store performance.

  • Provide feedback and coaching to ensure training translates into consistent customer service behavior and operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in operational training within the food and beverage, QSR, or hospitality industries.

  • Experience in developing and facilitating structured training programs.

  • Strong background in customer service behavior coaching, operational audits, and store team development.

  • Ability to work flexible schedules based on operational demands, including occasional evening or weekend store visits.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and report preparation.

Work Location:
Office-based in Mandaue City, Cebu with regular field/store visits.

Salary Range:
₱20,000–₱30,000 (commensurate with experience)
