Description

The Maintenance Dispatcher will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient coordination of maintenance requests, scheduling, and communication between tenants, vendors, and internal teams. This position requires exceptional multitasking skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure timely and high-quality maintenance services for our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch non-emergency work orders and assist in coordinating appointments with vendors and residents.
  • Notify Sr. Maintenance Coordinators of escalations as needed.
  • Ensure that residents are effectively communicated with regarding the status of their work orders.
  • Ensure work orders are invoiced in a timely manner
  • Assists with invoice coding and processing to ensure prompt payment of invoices for work completed by vendors.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Experience in dispatching or coordinating maintenance work
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with maintenance work order systems
  • Proficiency in Zendesk and Slack
