What is the role that we need?

General Ledger Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

● Management of purchase orders

● Sub-disbursement analysis

● Process improvements

● AMEX – Reconciliation and Management Support

● Prepare monthly and ad hoc journal entries

● Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

● Monthly expense reallocations

● Quarterly balance sheet allocations

● Maintenance and roll forward of balance sheet reconciliations

● Ad Hoc assignments and analytics

● Support of interim and annual audit testing

● Ad Hoc projects and other tasks as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

● A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA a plus.

● At least 1-3 years of relevant experience

● Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) and/or Google Suite

● Strong technical skills - specifically with Word Excel spreadsheets/Google Sheets,

including VLOOKUP functions and pivot tables

● Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.

● Strong problem solver, possessing the ability to see how the different pieces of

the puzzle fit together

● Excellent communicator, both written and oral, to act as a cross-functional

business partner

● Highly detail oriented, with an analytical approach to supporting the strategic

decision-making process

● Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
