LearnPedia is an Australian-based training institute that helps structural and civil engineers, especially migrant engineers, recent graduates, and professionals looking to upskill, gain practical, job-ready skills in Timber Residential Design and Construction.
Our programs are aligned with AS/NZS standards and follow a project-based learning approach, where trainees work on real-life projects from start to finish, applying their new skills in practical scenarios from day one.

We're active on Instagram and Facebook, using Reels and daily story content to engage our audience, share real outcomes, and drive program enrolments.

We are looking for a highly organised and creative Virtual Assistant to manage and create daily Instagram and Facebook stories that reflect LearnPedia's voice, values, and training outcomes.

This role is perfect for someone who understands storytelling, has a strong grasp of engineering/education content, and knows how to convert it into visually engaging, swipeable story formats.

We strongly prefer candidates who have worked with established brands, where high standards, consistency, and attention to detail are expected as the norm.

*** Key Responsibilities ***
- Create and publish daily stories on Instagram and Facebook using Canva or similar tools

- Use sales techniques in the story structure (e.g., pain points, curiosity, proof, call-to-action)

- Repurpose student outcomes, reviews, training milestones, and instructor messages into persuasive and impactful story sequences

- Coordinate with the LearnPedia team to receive updated content (video clips, text, testimonials, or Q&A themes)

- Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistency with our new programs and events

- Track basic engagement insights and flag successful content themes

*** Must-Have Skills & Qualities ***
- Excellent English and visual storytelling skills

- Strong grasp of sales psychology and how to apply it to social media stories (even subtly)

- Proficient in Instagram and Facebook story formats, engagement features, and trends

- Proficient in Canva or similar mobile-first design tools

- Ability to take technical/educational content and turn it into simple, clean, high-impact visuals

- Video editing skills for short reels or stories

- Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Highly organised and self-driven with great attention to detail
