Role & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Head of IT to assess and recommend infra system related technologies that can fulfill company organization needs & help company to grow the business.

  • Pro-actively manage & schedule for service maintenance of infra system including WAN/LAN /Servers/Racks/Data Center (Hardware) & communication Tools (e.g. Email/IM/Phone System) to ensure up-time, availability, recovery and performance of system are intact.

  • Plan & Implement new IT Infra systems projects to help improving business operations from time to time.

  • Ensuring the uptime of the network and catches the security threats in the system

  • Responsible for ensuring that all network related engagements are up to date

  • Coordinates with the business unit in managing and executing projects

  • Analyze infra system related reports with production, maintenance, and malfunction records, to identify problems and recommend solutions (for example changes to procedures, workflow, or equipment) that will improve performance and increase the capacity of the system.

  • Select and manage ongoing relationships with vendors and suppliers (for example, IPVPN, Email system providers) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.

  • Manage & Coach Infra Support Team for their day to day works & monitor their KPI to ensure tasks are completed timely & accurately.

  • Assist in monitoring Backend Applications Server performance & highlight any potential risks.

  • Perform a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma or Professional qualification in IT/Computer Studies/related fields

  • At least 5-7 years working experience in IT related field

  • Good Vendors management & negotiation skills.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • LAN & WAN, Database, Server Administration knowledge.

  • Proficient in Windows Environment, Operating Systems & Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge & Experience in MS SharePoint will be an added advantage.

  • Able to work under minimal supervision and show latitude to use of initiative and independent judgment.

  • Able to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and able to manage his/her time and deliverables independently.
