Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Steel fabrication and repairing jobs for Kitchen Equipment.

2. Welding and maintenance for Kitchen Equipment Materials.

3. Examine the equipment after welding and advise maintenance of defects.

4. Plan/set up of welding operations before beginning.

5. Weld components and framework using a variety of welding processes.

6. Grind, sand, polish, and detail fabrications to required finish using hand and power tools to a high standard.

7. Operation of manual machine tools, as part of the fabrication process, when required.

8. Ensure that the supply of consumables, i.e. gas, welding wire, etc. do not run which could affect the job. Work with the Immediate Supervisor to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

9. Maintains tools, gauges, and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.

Minimum requirements and qualifications:

•Must know how to interpret fabrication drawings


•Experience working in Metal Manufacturing is an advantage


•Experience in Kitchen Equipment is not required but an advantage.


•With TESDA NCII Certificate for GTAW (TIG Welding) & SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) is an advantage

Location: Preferably around Calamba, Laguna
