Service Sales Engineer

Your role
Mission:
To develop, maintain and improve current relationships with existing customers in his territory and to continue to increase the customer portfolio by prospecting and identifying new potentials and ensuring an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Plan and priorities sales activities towards achieving agreed business aims, especially managing personal time and productivity.
Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities, Maintaining regular contact with all customers.
Job Description:
- Proactively engage with allocated leads and analyze the installed base to identify opportunities. Prepare and present tailored proposals for the sale of CTS spare parts and service products.
- Coordinate with colleagues in Equipment Sales to align strategies, ensure seamless customer experiences, and drive successful sales outcomes while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Promote additional products and services through tele sales, targeted email campaigns, and market research. Actively generate new leads for CTS aftermarket offerings.
- Increase revenue and profitability within the assigned territory by promoting the full range of Compressor Technique Service products to both new and existing customers, in line with strategic business objectives.
- Monitor and follow up on customer accounts to ensure prompt payment collection, supporting healthy cash flow and customer relationship management.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- Business or Marketing degree is acceptable if combined with strong sales aptitude.
Required Experience
- Sales experience in industrial products or services (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
- Strong selling skills and ability to build long-term customer relationships.
- Advantage if:
- From air compressor industry or similar (HVAC, pumps, generators).
- Has experience working in a multinational company (exposure to structured processes and global standards).

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Technical Knowledge
- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems (can be trained).
- Advantage if familiar with compressed air systems and service concepts.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., SAP C4C).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
Preferred
- Exposure to energy efficiency audits, service contracts, or aftermarket solutions.
- Knowledge of competitor offerings in compressed air industry.
