Role: Estimator (Asphalt & Concrete)

Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary

Benefits: HMO plus 2 Free Dependents, P1,500 Rice Allowance, and Night Differential

Work Schedule: 5-day work week, 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Philippine Time

Work Setup: Work from Home

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Material Quantity Takeoff:

1. Review construction drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine the exact quantities of materials required.
2. Utilize software tools and manual methods to perform detailed material takeoffs.
3. Ensure accuracy in calculations to prevent cost overruns and project delays.

Cost Estimation:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on current market rates.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.
• Prepare and present cost estimation reports to project managers and clients.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with project managers and operations to understand project scope and requirements.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss estimates, changes, and adjustments.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the estimation process.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.
• Utilize estimation software and databases to manage and track project costs.
• Generate regular reports and updates on cost estimates and project progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in construction estimating Asphalt and/or Concrete flatworks
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, HCSS, On-Screen)
• Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working for a US-based client in a remote setup.
