Position Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining mechanical systems and production equipment used in cosmetics manufacturing. This role requires a strong understanding of process engineering, machinery, automation, and maintenance practices within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, install, and optimize mechanical systems and production lines for cosmetics / personal care; filling, mixing, and packaging.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable operation of equipment.
  • Collaborate with Quality, and Production teams to scale up new products from pilot to full production.
  • Evaluate and select machinery, components, and suppliers for new equipment purchases or upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Ensure all systems comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and equipment specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or food & beverage industries.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation systems.
  • Experience with filling and packaging machinery is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with GMP, OSHA, and FDA regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willing to work on a fixed schedule 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Mondays to Saturdays).
  • Someone who can start immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
