Reports To: Marketing Head

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Social Media Officer is responsible for managing the organization's online presence by developing, implementing, and overseeing social media content strategies. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and an understanding of social media trends to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Management
  • Develop and curate engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Schedule and publish posts, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
  • Community Engagement
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with followers and online communities.
  • Implement strategies to increase audience interaction and brand loyalty.
  • Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, content creators, and external agencies when needed.

  • Support influencer and partnership collaborations to enhance brand reach.

  • Advertising & Paid Campaigns

  • Manage social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) to maximize reach and conversions.
  • Monitor ad performance and adjust strategies to improve ROI.
  • Crisis Management & Brand Reputation
  • Monitor online sentiment and address any potential PR concerns proactively.
  • Ensure brand reputation is upheld across all digital interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Experience in handling paid advertising campaigns is an advantage.
