DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform standard and sequence of service procedures.

Greet the guest and assist them to their table once the table is available.

Present the menu to the guest, make suggestions based on their preference and upsell food and beverage items from the menu while the targets.
-
Make sure that all dining wares, cutleries, and condiments are complete and set up appropriately on the table and that all needed items will be provided to the guest throughout the course of their meal.

Take the guest order and repeat the orders once complete to confirm if all orders are correct.
-
Ensure that all guest orders are served in accordance with service sequence standards. Server must mention the name of the food and beverage that they are serving. Follow up guest orders when there is any delay.

Coordinate with the kitchen for any special request from the guest.

Check if the order of the guest is completed.
-
Refill and anticipate all guest needs (e.i water, tissue).
-
Report to the manager on duty any guest feedback that needs immediate attention.
-
Offer desserts, coffee or tea to the guest if needed.
-
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the tables and chairs of the assigned area.
-
Ensure all empty plates are cleared on the table.
-
Offer to package the leftover food of the guest.
-
Provide guest feedback form together with the bill of the guest. Submit the filled-out form to the supervisor.

Submit the guest payment to the cashier and return the guest receipt.
-
Assist the guest on their chair when leaving, guide them to the door, thank them for dining, and bid farewell.
-
After leaving the guest, inspect their table immediately. Always check for items that guests might have left, and return the item if there's any.

Arrange the table and chairs and prepare the set up for the next guest.

Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
-
Anticipate all guest needs including observing their non-verbal gestures.
-
Delivery of extra plates, serving gears.
-
Refill of water or beverage.
-
Provide tissue if needed.
-

Perform opening procedure in the store.
-
Participates in shift briefing and provides inputs on targets and concerns of the day.
-
Prepare the dining area, wares, cutleries and equipment.
-
Check and monitor the temperature of the ice cream cart and ensure ice cream texture meets the standards.
-
Complete all the condiments and supplies needed for shift.
-
Clean the table, chairs, floors and whole station area.
-
Accomplishing endorsement logs (cleaning of each station) for reference of next shift.
-

Perform closing procedure in the store.
-
Clean and prepare the dining area, utensils and equipment for the next day opening.
-
Conduct inventory procedure (e.i. condiments, glasses, wares and cutleries)
-
Perform safekeeping procedures on products.
-
Cover the all cutleries inside the cutlery bin with cling wrap before storing.
-
Clean the tables and chairs. Ensure all chairs are lifted if applicable.
-
Turn off all the equipment (e.i. cutlery warmer, point of sale machine, point of sale printer)
-
Clean the waiter station and complete all the supplies needed for the next day operation.
-
Clean and empty the trash bins with replaced trash liners.
-
Ensure that the station is ready for the next opening schedule.
-

Perform side duties (e.i, back-up of cutleries, glasses and wares) as necessary.
-
Report to manager on duty all malfunction equipment or facilities.
-
Perform cleanliness functions in the restaurant as needed.
-
Sweep, mop and scrub floors and other restaurant areas on a set schedule.
-
Clean and sanitize equipment and tools on a set schedule.
-

Maintain personal hygiene and wear a prescribed uniform.
-
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
