AX2012 Integration Developer

Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled AX2012 Integration Developer to design, build, and support integration solutions between Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 and various enterprise systems. This role focuses on enabling seamless data flow, enhancing system interoperability, and supporting business process automation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement integration solutions for Microsoft Dynamics AX2012.
Collaborate with functional teams, analysts, and developers to understand integration requirements.
Utilize AIF (Application Integration Framework), 9A Integration module, web services, and SQL Server technologies to build interfaces.
Write and maintain code using X++ and manage data operations with T-SQL and SSRS.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including connectivity and data transfer problems.
Monitor the performance, reliability, and security of integration solutions.
Maintain technical documentation including design specifications and integration diagrams.
Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and continuous improvements to integration processes.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices related to AX2012 and system integrations.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience as an AX2012 Developer with a focus on integration projects.
Strong knowledge of AX2012 architecture and AIF.
Proficient in integration tools such as web services, XML, and SOAP.
Proficiency in X++ programming and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSRS).
Understanding of system integration patterns, data mapping, and transformation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred:
Familiarity with the 9A Integration module.
Experience with Dynamics 365 integration.
Microsoft Dynamics AX certifications.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and integration tools such as BizTalk or Azure Logic Apps.
Knowledge of EDI standards and related tools.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
