Utilities Section Lead

  • Provides supervision and assistance in the operation and maintenance of the Common Utilities Building for DLPF includes, but is not limited to electrical system, transformer yards, generator sets, synchronization panel, capacitor bank, LVSG, MVSG, panel boards, MCC's, Automation, SCADA, BMS, compressed dry air(CDA),N2 generator, District Cooling System(DCS)/HVAC, water treatment plant(WTP), wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), process cooling system(PCW), Diesel/Biomass boilers and cooling tower water chemicals, liquid nitrogen, power drives movers and other electrical devices coupled with mechanical equipment.
  • Generates and coordinates maintenance schedules and make sure timely activities are followed. Correspond regularly with manufacturing, engineering, shift leaders, contractors and vendors for the scheduling of current projects.
  • Prepares and consolidates utilities records on a timely basis based on their frequencies.
  • Main liaison for maintenance, operations, and other departments. Must have a keen awareness of the proposed schedule to support operational performance.
  • Responsibility includes but is not limited to long-range and short-range schedules. Guided by data regular backlog relative to resources should be reported so as not to impact equipment performance.
  • Supervises third party service provider for the new projects or installations and/or scheduled maintenance of facility equipment.
  • Corresponds regularly with manufacturing, engineering, shift leaders, contractors and vendors for the scheduling of current projects.
  • Establishes an appropriate inventory of spare parts to provide uninterrupted service to the DLPF manufacturing operations.
  • Supervises technician/s for the troubleshooting and repairs and work order/s issued by requesting departments.
  • Reduces the cost of maintenance while improving services.
  • Manages accurate backlog status and completion rate.
  • Plans and oversees the execution of troubleshooting and PM activities.
  • Anticipates schedules for emergency repair.
  • Manages and controls the calibration of assigned measuring instruments.
  • Implements safety policies and food engineering design guidelines in accordance with food safety FSSC, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), IMS, QEHS, and general housekeeping (6S).
