Job Description

This is a remote position.

We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant with deep knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) and a strong background in CPA firm accounting. If you're a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can clean up books, make high-level adjustments, and work independently—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced accounting functions using QuickBooks Online

  • Analyze, clean up, and restructure books, including complex journal entries and adjustments

  • Support client accounting for multiple entities, especially those in law firms or service-based industries

  • Maintain accurate financial records, perform account reconciliations, and ensure GAAP compliance

  • Collaborate with CPA firms and clients on monthly closes, tax preparation, and financial reporting

  • Provide support for audit requests, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements

  • Identify issues, propose solutions, and implement cleanup strategies for poorly maintained books

  • Work with minimal supervision while managing deadlines and client expectations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a CPA firm (U.S. client base required)

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and adjusting journal entries

  • Proven experience with high-level reconciliations, cleanups, and financial analysis

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financials to non-accountants

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and deliver results with minimal oversight

  • Tech-savvy, adaptable, and comfortable with cloud-based tools and accounting systems

  • CPA certification preferred (not required, but highly desirable)

  • Prior experience with law firm accounting is a strong plus

  • Professional, proactive, committed, and eager to learn and grow

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php684.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
