The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that construction projects comply with quality standards, contract specifications, and relevant codes. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance plans, conducting inspections and audits, managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensuring proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plan in accordance with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct and coordinate quality audits, inspections, and testing during construction activities.
  • Supervise and guide QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality compliance.
  • Manage the process of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date quality documentation, including ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), checklists, and reports.
  • Provide training and awareness to site personnel on quality standards and best practices.
  • Interface with clients, third-party inspectors, and regulatory bodies regarding quality-related issues.
  • Ensure that materials and workmanship meet established standards and contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry, preferably with large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with local and international construction codes and standards.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QA/QC documentation software.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM)
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
  • PMP or equivalent construction-related certification (optional)
