  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in JAPANESE cuisine, with a strong foundation in traditional and modern techniques.
  • Proven experience working in a JAPANESE restaurant, handling high-volume service.
  • Expertise in preparing and cooking various Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, donburi, yakiniku, and ramen.
  • Experience in filleting and handling fresh seafood, especially salmon, tuna, and mackerel, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Skilled in rice preparation for sushi and donburi, maintaining proper texture and consistency.
  • Knowledgeable about Japanese ingredients, sauces, and seasonings, ensuring authenticity in flavors.
  • Ability to maintain food safety and hygiene standards, adhering to establishment and health regulations.
  • With experienced knife skills and knowledge in traditional Japanese cutting techniques.
  • Capable of working in both hot and cold kitchen stations as a Line Cook.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality presentation and consistency.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate efficiently with other kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
