About the Role

We're looking for an AI/ML Engineer who's passionate about building cutting-edge machine learning solutions, especially in the exciting world of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). In this role, you'll help bring innovative GenAI applications to life—think smart chatbots, natural-language SQL agents, and AI-powered insights.

You'll work on designing, deploying, and scaling AI solutions from prototype to production using Python, cloud platforms, and modern MLOps practices.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build end-to-end ML pipelines—from data prep to training and inference—on Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Prototype GenAI use cases like:

o Chatbots powered by Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

o LLMs that recommend insights and next-best actions

o Natural-language interfaces for databases (e.g., SQL agents)

  • Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs (OpenAI, Cohere, or open-source models) for performance, cost efficiency, and safety
  • Implement vector search solutions (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Azure AI Search)
  • Apply prompt engineering best practices to maximize LLM performance
  • Operationalize ML systems with tools like MLflow, Vertex AI Pipelines, Azure ML, and integrate CI/CD workflows
  • Collaborate with BI, Data Governance, and Risk teams to ensure responsible AI practices—bias testing, explainability, auditability
  • Share knowledge across the team through reusable code libraries, documentation, and internal training sessions

What You Bring

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • 3 years of Python for data science and ML (pandas, PyTorch or TensorFlow)
  • Hands-on experience with LLM/RAG development using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
  • Experience with cloud ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI)
  • Solid understanding of MLOps: Docker, GitHub Actions, MLflow or Kubeflow
  • Proficiency in SQL and data wrangling with a focus on data quality
  • Strong communication skills—you can explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience integrating GenAI with Power BI or Tableau extensions
  • Familiarity with time-series forecasting or computer vision projects
  • Exposure to Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects
