General Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: Manages AWS services like EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and networking.
• CI/CD: Builds and maintains deployment pipelines using tools like Github, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Jenkins.
• IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Specialist: Uses Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure setup.
• Monitoring & Observability: Sets up alerts and dashboards using CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.
• DevSecOps: Handles IAM, secrets management, and integrates security checks into pipelines.
• Cost Optimization: Monitors AWS usage, reviews current infrastructure setup and implements cost-saving measures.
• Site Reliability: Ensures system uptime, auto-scaling, and performance.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manages backups and sets up recovery plans using AWS Backup, S3, etc.
• Containerized Workloads: Works with Docker, ECS, EKS, and Fargate for containerized workloads.
• Automation: Writes scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate AWS-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Security, specializing in designing, automating, and securing AWS environments.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management – Proven expertise in architecting, deploying, and managing AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and networking components to support scalable and secure enterprise environments.
• CI/CD Engineering – Skilled in designing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Jenkins to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate and standardize infrastructure deployments across multiple environments.
• Security & DevSecOps – Strong background in integrating security into development pipelines, including IAM, secrets management, compliance enforcement, and cloud security hardening.
• Monitoring & Observability – Proficient in setting up end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, and ELK to drive proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Cost Optimization – Adept at analyzing AWS usage patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies that reduce costs while maintaining performance.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) – Experienced in ensuring high availability, resiliency, performance tuning, and implementing automated scaling strategies for mission-critical applications.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery – Skilled in designing and executing disaster recovery strategies, leveraging AWS Backup, S3, and cross-region replication to safeguard data.
• Containerized Workloads – Proficient in managing microservices and containerized applications with Docker, ECS, EKS, and AWS Fargate.
• Automation & Scripting – Strong ability to write automation scripts in Python and Bash to streamline operations and optimize AWS cloud workloads.
