About the role

Provide engineering support. Develop technical solutions for projects, maintain quality of design and parts specification for components & systems. Work closely and coordinate with customers as well as internal related departments

What you'll be doing

  • Conceptualize and design machine drawings based on survey data, architectural drawings, rough engineering notes, sketches and verbal instructions.
  • Select correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing ones
  • Evaluate the best applicable layout based on existing machine room space and design using correct design concepts.
  • Assess pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacturability, availability of materials, tooling and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability and serviceability.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other engineers.
  • Communicate design concepts and technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Work with limited supervision in all conventional aspects of the area of assignment, maintaining responsibility for personal work output

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience in elevator industry specific to engineering and construction or its equivalent.
  • Knowledge in computer-aided drawing - AutoCAD, SolidWorks
  • Good communication skills
  • Amenable to work on graveyard shift; hybrid.
