We are looking for Chemical Technician

The Chemical Technician will fulfill the following duties:

  • Prepares materials and specimens for test
  • Prepares reports of tests conducted and updates test records of equipment and instruments; helps prepare monthly accomplishment reports of the Unit, accounting for all tasks accomplished by subordinates
  • Performs regular checking and maintenance of test equipment, laboratory apparatuses, and test tools
  • Assists in analyzing causes of equipment failures to determine corrective procedures
  • Maintains ISO 17025 standards within the laboratory

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or other related technical courses
  • Licensed Chemical Technician
  • With at least 1–2 years of experience in laboratory testing, chemical analysis, or equipment calibration
  • Knowledgeable in ISO/IEC 17025 standards and laboratory quality systems
  • Proficient in technical report preparation and documentation
  • Familiar with laboratory safety procedures and handling of hazardous substances
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in laboratory test methods and sample preparation
  • Skilled in using and maintaining laboratory instruments and test tools
  • Ensures precision in recording and reporting test results
  • Adheres to ISO 17025 and laboratory best practices
  • Identifies equipment issues and implements corrective actions
  • Interprets data effectively and supports decision-making
  • Works effectively with colleagues and other departments
  • Practices proper safety standards in laboratory operations
  • Seeks opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and quality
