General Objectives of the Job:

Performs chemical analysis of in-process samples utilizing the available classical and analytical equipment in the QA laboratory. Coordinates with production department regarding quality assurance status in-process samples. Prepares records concerning in-process and raw materials' analytical results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lab Operations & Analysis: You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the lab, including operating instruments like GC and UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, preparing reagents, and ensuring the proper use and conditions of all equipment.
  • Quality Control & Reporting: You will review and evaluate test results for validity, and report any non-conformances to the QA Analyst, QA Chemist, and QA Supervisor. You'll also participate in root cause analysis and help update the lab's quality systems and processes.
  • Documentation & Compliance: You will ensure all test results are properly filed and maintained, and that the lab adheres to standard safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Inventory Management: You'll monitor and maintain the inventory of lab supplies to ensure everything is available when needed.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in BS Laboratory Technician or BS Chemical Engineering Technology (a license is preferred), Licensed Chemical Technician
  • Relevant hands-on work experience is required
  • Strong technical knowledge of chemical analysis and/or manufacturing processes,
  • With proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective communication skills
  • Willing to work in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
  • Willing for 6-days compressed work week schedule
