Summary of Job Role and Place in Organization
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Developer – BPO to identify, evaluate, and establish strategic outsourcing partnerships across East and Southeast Asia. This role focuses on sourcing qualified BPO vendors in creative services (e.g., 3D modeling, rendering, image/video production, content writing), managing the end-to-end onboarding process, and maintaining healthy vendor relationships to support our rapidly scaling business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. BPO Sourcing & Development (60%)
Identify, assess, and establish partnerships with BPO vendors across target markets (e.g., Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia).
Conduct capability assessments through test projects, cost benchmarking, and quality evaluation.
Lead contract negotiation with new vendors, ensuring commercial and delivery terms meet company requirements.
Collaborate with legal and finance to finalize agreements and onboarding.
2. Vendor Management & Performance (20%)
Work closely with internal production and QA teams to match vendors with business needs by category (e.g., modeling, rendering, video).
Monitor vendor KPIs (quality, timeliness, rework rate) and initiate performance reviews.
Proactively identify risks or bottlenecks and drive resolution or re-sourcing if necessary.
3. Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement (10%)
Track market trends and competitor practices in the BPO/creative outsourcing landscape.
Recommend improvements to vendor management strategy, tools, or pricing models.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
Align with internal stakeholders (e.g., design leads, category managers, content ops) to forecast needs and prioritize resource gaps.
Act as a bridge between internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth communication and expectations alignment.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Operations Management, or related field.
3–5 years experience in BPO/vendor sourcing, business development, or creative production outsourcing.
Familiarity with outsourcing markets in East/Southeast Asia.
Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
Comfortable managing multiple external partners and internal stakeholders simultaneously.
Excellent English communication; local language skills in SEA countries is a plus.
Nice to Have:
Understanding of digital content production workflow (3D, image, animation, etc.)
Experience working with remote and multicultural teams.
Previous experience in the e-commerce or consumer goods industry.
