Duties and Responsibilities

Position: Building Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee operation of building managing, supervise and or direct contractors who perform routine maintenance and repair work, and oversee planning and construction of common areas. Includes regular and unscheduled on-site visits.

  2. Assist Building Administrator in negotiating contracts for service. Assist Building Administrator in the development and drafting bid specifications. Pre-quality contractors, assist Building Administrator taking specs to bid, secure all bids, evaluate, interview and make recommendations on selection of those contractors to Building Administrator for its approval.

  3. Design and recommend preventative maintenance programs for the property to Building Administrator approval, including capital expense recommendations to the Building Administrator.

  4. Establish and monitor adherence to strong building key record keeping and working closely with Building Administrator´s Assistant to ensure the system is well documented and keys are secure.

  5. Perform any and all reasonable tasks as determined by the Building Administrator.

  6. Must lead by example as a positive role model in speech, action and attitude.

Other Office Duties:

  1. Participate in meetings as requested

  2. Maintain clean, safe workplace

  3. Maintain organized files for each property according to developed file structures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  1. Manage directly maintenance personnel, or contracted contractors and service providers.

  2. Oversee and ensure the recruitment and re4tention of qualifies contractors throughout the properties managed, as evidence by high quality service and response combined with competitive financial terms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
