Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to support our General Accounting functions. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of outgoing payments, customer billing, and incoming payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Ensure timely processing of payroll, reimbursements, and other financial obligations.
  • Prepare tax returns, government reports, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and schedules.
  • Maintain proper filing and safeguarding of accounting records and documents.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

General:

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Assist in preparing reports, reconciliations, and other accounting functions as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (newly grad are welcome to apply)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume accounting environment.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and internal control procedures.
  • Customer service experience related to collections or billing inquiries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php22,000.00 per month
