About the Role

As a Site Electrical Engineer, you will support the development and execution of solar and/or offshore wind projects. The role includes design review, site monitoring, construction inspection, and reporting to ensure technical quality and compliance. You will also contribute to advisory services, due diligence, and project financing activities in coordination with DNV's regional and local teams.

Location: Negros Occidental, Philippines

Contract Duration: TBH months

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

*Conduct detailed technical reviews and independent assessments of electrical construction documentation, including:

* Electrical drawings, calculations, and specifications

* Construction submittals, test documentation, QA/QC records

* Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and commissioning plans

* Perform on-site construction monitoring and inspections to verify compliance with:

* Design documents, geotechnical reports, and applicable codes

* Good engineering and construction practices

* Write detailed technical reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders

* Support Owner's Engineering, project development, and financial closing processes

* Manage project schedules, budgets, contract interfaces, and quality programs

* Provide input into continuous improvement initiatives, tool development, and internal training

* Support business development efforts in solar, wind, and storage advisory services

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required)

* Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in offshore wind or solar construction

* Experience with LV and MV electrical system design

* Proficient in equipment acceptance testing and commissioning

* Familiarity with offshore cabling regulations and standards is a plus

* Project management experience is desirable.

* Strong HSE awareness and commitment

* Good organizational and time-management skills

* High level of integrity and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Comfortable collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams

* Willingness to work in challenging site conditions, including rough terrain and adverse weather

* Ability to wear standard construction PPE and climb ladders

* Open to attending required safety and offshore training (e.g., GWO, Working at Heights)

* Medical certificate may be required
