Job Summary:

The
Accounting Supervisor
is responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger accounts, reconciling financial data, and supporting audits. The
Accounting Supervisor
also provides guidance to junior accounting staff, assists in budgeting and forecasting, and ensures adherence to accounting standards and company policies. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making by providing accurate and timely financial insights.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, daily transactions into accounting books and cash management.
  • Build up full set of accounting control document and Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations.
  • Monitor and ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with internal policies and legal regulations in finance & accounting activities.
  • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Review and approve payment vouchers, journal entries, and ensure accuracy in all financial documentation.
  • Responsible for timely monthly, quarterly and year-end of tax filings and financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage, train, and develop the accounting team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
  • Certified Public Accountant (preferably).
  • At least 5 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • With an experience working in steel manufacturing, construction or manufacturing industry (preferably).
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, accounting standards, and corporate finance.
  • Proficient in Xero accounting software or other related tools.
  • Open to work onsite in Makati.
  • Can start asap.
