About the Role

Lead the design and governance of enterprise BI solutions that turn data into actionable insight. You'll work closely with the Head of Global Business Intelligence to define KPIs, ensure data accuracy, and deliver trusted dashboards that guide strategic decisions. This role requires both technical depth and business fluency, owning the BI ecosystem across Power BI, Confluence, and Jira.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards that support executive and operational needs.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data models, DAX measures, and clear visual analytics.
  • Define and maintain KPI catalogs, business rules, and transformation logic.
  • Ensure each BI asset is traceable to a Jira Epic with documented ownership and purpose.
  • Oversee field-level metadata and synchronization between Power BI and Confluence.
  • Audit BI assets for data quality, naming standards, and governance compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to align data pipelines and maintain a governed source of truth.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership through polished, data-driven narratives.
  • Mentor junior analysts and enforce BI best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8 + years in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
  • 5 + years developing enterprise BI solutions using Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
  • Extensive experience writing and optimizing SQL queries for analytical and operational use.
  • Proven expertise in designing and maintaining data models (fact/dimension, joins)
  • Strong background in managing data governance and documentation using Confluence and Jira.
  • Solid experience working with ETL tools or data pipelines
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, naming conventions, and data lineage.
  • Good technical writing of specs and design - Func/Tech Documentation
  • Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex data for executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver quality outputs with minimal supervision.
