JSC is responsible for providing back-office support to the business units of Jardine Group by administrating transactional and rule-based activities. We aim to deliver world-class services to our internal customers in a cost-efficient manner via process harmonization, application of state-of-the-art technologies, automation and process simplification.
We are looking for RTR, PTP and OTC Finance professionals who could be a part of our Finance pioneer team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete new requests for RTR master data in a timely, accurate manner by performing integrity checks to ensure a high quality of master data.
- Validate and process journal entries for fixed assets maintenance and disposal requests
- Run depreciation for fixed asset and reconcile GL accounts for depreciation
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded including intercompany journal entries
- Post monthly accruals and journal entries, adjusting/correcting journals
- Calculate monthly corporate tax provision
- Set up budget allocation rules in ERP
- Perform account reconciliations, including, bank reconciliations, balance sheet accounts and sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliation.
- Perform period-end activities including financial close schedules, foreign currency maintenance, balance reconciliation, sub-ledger closing, general ledger closing, etc.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field
- More than one (1) year of accounting experience in a similar role.
- Experience in using integrated ERP software (Preferably Oracle and/or MS Dynamic 365) is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Demonstrated customer service excellence, including professional, courteous phone skills
- Good knowledge of concepts and procedures related to Record to Report.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Independent and meticulous with numbers
- Efficient and accurate in reconciliation and reporting
- Experience working in Finance Shared Service Centre is preferred
- Has working knowledge with workflow tools
- Experience from multinational company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible, dependable, and professional.
- Great attention to detail and ability to multitask and able to work independently and prioritize in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
