General Description

Tax Account is responsible for preparing and actual filing of tax forms, performing the end to end GL Accounting functions from Recording to Reporting for multiple company codes.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparation of tax forms & actual filing.
  • Performs reconciliation on periodic, quarterly and annual tax.
  • Processing of intercompany transactions.
  • Recording and monitoring of accruals.
  • GL period-end closing of books.
  • Financial and management reporting and analysis.
  • Ensures compliance to internal controls, acctg standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Supports the GL Team Lead in the following areas:
  • Maintaining good working relationship with stakeholders and counterparts.
  • Ensures a sound resiliency plan within his area of responsibility.
  • Recommends and assists in rolling out continuous improvement initiatives with the RTR operations.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
  • Experience with local or international tax compliance, reporting and filing.
  • Highly detail-oriented, good time management skills, pro-active, able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good customer-oriented mindset and interpersonal skills.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and oral.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2 years meaningful experience in General Accounting, with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, can work under pressure and prolonged working hours; Excellent in Microsoft Excel; Experience in SAP is an advantage.
