JOB SUMMARY:

Skilled professional to provide support in Accounting Department and supervise various financial tasks and accounting reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Prepare and process journal entries, assist with the closing of general ledgers and analyzing account discrepancies.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing generation, payment processing and reconciliations.
  • Process and/or audit payroll and review employees' DTR (Daily Time Records).
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statement, reports, budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of worksheets and analyzing accounts.
  • Reconcile account balances, resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Maintain systematic filing system, safeguard accounting data and its confidentiality.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments, vendors and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth financial operations
  • Adhere to internal controls, accounting best practices and relevant regulations.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with at least three (3) years relevant working experience preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions and exposure to various or any accounting software is a plus
  • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, including month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Great sense of professionalism and integrity
  • Highly organized, flexible and keen to details
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written and good interpersonal skills
