Duties and Responsibilities of Accounting Staff

1. Recording and Processing Transactions

  • Prepare and record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers and journals

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Monitor incoming and outgoing payments
  • Prepare billing statements and invoices
  • Follow up on collections and manage payment schedules

3. Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Generate and analyze financial summaries as requested by management

4. Documentation and Filing

  • Organize and maintain proper filing of receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements

5. Payroll Support

  • Assist in payroll preparation and disbursement
  • Ensure correct computation of salaries, deductions, and government contributions

6. Bank Transactions

  • Assist in preparing and process bank deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations
  • Monitor and update bank balances

7. Tax and Compliance Assistance

  • Assist in the preparation of BIR forms and other government-required reports
  • Ensure timely submission of taxes, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions

8. Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with other departments for budget monitoring and expense tracking
  • Support the accounting supervisor or finance manager in day-to-day tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php540.00 per day
