Senior Manager for Retirement Implementation

The Senior Manager Implementation oversees a team of Implementation Consultants who install new retirement plan sales. Interacts with internal and/or external high-level contacts to develop solutions to complex and difficult problems.

  • oOversee a team of associates responsible for the installation of new retirement plan sale
  • sStaff training, mentoring, quality standards, reporting, disciplinary action, motivation, managing managers to identify appropriate staffing levels to projected volume with overtime/vacations and forecasting strategies, timely performance appraisals and salary/promotion/merit increase recommendation
  • sEnsure that quality assurance, survey results and gain loss standards are upheld with direct report
  • sProvide change management leadership to new product offerings, process changes, regulatory requirements and service model enhancement
  • sPerform conference calls and consult on incoming work with various client contacts including partner(s) sales and relationship/account managers, various internal departments, plan sponsors, financial advisers, third party administrators and/or prior provider
  • sRespond to partner representatives and clients (including advisors, consultants and third party administrators) with appropriate resolutions on escalated issue
  • sDiscuss issues and trends with subordinates, peers and relationship managemen
  • tEnsure that conversion deadlines are met within the team and that workloads remain balanced through continuous review of staff volum
  • eLead projects which are designed to improve processes that enhance client and/or staff experienc
  • eWork with sales, relationship management and other operational and service teams on process optimization, shared metric accountability, service standards and overall partnership healt
  • hParticipate in finals presentations, site visits and RPF response
