We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager to lead the Accounts Payable (Rental) function. This role is responsible for overseeing rental-related payables, ensuring accurate financial processing, and managing a small team to support operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide the AP team in processing rental-related payments accurately and on time
  • Oversee general accounting tasks including:

  • Reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts

  • General ledger operations
  • Preparing journal entries and monthly closing reports
  • Preparing account and bank reconciliations
  • Coordinate with the Treasury team for execution of bank transfers and related transactions
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards in all AP activities
  • Monitor and settle outstanding rental payables and recover receivables
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial concerns
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements within the AP function
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or accounts payable, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Experience in rental or property-related accounting is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team, multitask, and perform under pressure in a multicultural environment
