Job Description
The IT Technical Support which will be assigned in Laguna (Mega Warehouse, will provide medium to high level IT support requests from Mega Warehouse. He / she is responsible for making sure that all IT equipment, assets, facilities, are in good working condition. He / she monitors the physical aspects of IT facilities of the Mega Warehouse. The Senior Technical Officer oversees the IT Technical Support in trouble shooting, configuration, repair, and maintenance of the IT assets of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To act as a single point of contract for chat, email and phone support from staff regarding IT related issues.
- Ensure chat/calls are answered in a timely manner and emails are responded with urgency.
- To ensure that all incidents and request are forwarded and escalated to proper groups.
- Must handle multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision.
- Create, escalate and resolve tickets within agreed SLA (Service Level Agreements).
- Strong oral and written communication to internal and external clients.
- Coordinate/assist all IT activities, project and documentation processes.
- Record/monitor all IT transactional process, support/services tickets, ISO process.
- Notify all IT activities/updates and information to internal and external client.
- Respond to medium and high-level IT support requests.
- Monitors computer and network applications.
- Act as lead in network cabling, configuration of routers and other wireless devices.
- Act as lead in setting up of workstations to ensure that computers and other necessary peripheral devices (printers, routers, etc.) are complete and functioning.
- Check and evaluate new and incoming TT equipment delivered by suppliers.
- Maintain the physical condition of Servers found in IT room.
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for repair and maintenance.
- Create user accounts and email accounts.
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specific requirements.
- Performs advance troubleshooting and repair of desktops, laptops, network, printers and other peripheral devices.
- Responsible for maintenance of company's PABX / telephone v system.
- Periodically conduct preventive maintenance and IT asset inventory scheduled by IT Department Head.
- Responsible for safekeeping of IT assets, facilities, and software.
- Assists the IT Department Head in other IT related tasks.
- Provide service and customer support during field visit or onsite assistance.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- 2-3 years experienced employee specialized in IT/Computer Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
- Strong background in SAP B1/Warehouse Inventory System/POS System or equivalent.
- Has Background in accounting system.
- Knowledge and skills in Computer Troubleshooting.
- Preferably residing in Laguna or nearby areas.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php17, Php18,000.00 per month
