Sr. Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Translate program or systems specification into a working and efficient program

  • Translates user requirements into technical specifications, recommends solutions

  • Create test plan, specification, and data to ensure program compliancy with system requirements

  • Convert system design into program specifications

  • Performs unit, integration, and system testing

  • Provide programming estimates on resource requirements and schedule

  • Provide technical support and advice

  • Mentors junior programmers; may also act as a team leader in a project team

  • Perform lead programming functions – work load assignment, work monitoring, team support and quality assurance (QA)

  • As Group Head, participate in project scheduling and coordination with other concerned units of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree on Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or any field.

  • At least 5 years of working experience in software development

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • High proficiency with server-side languages such as Java, Python and Php

  • Skillful with any object-oriented programming languages preferably Java and Python

  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React

  • Familiarity with SQL database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MariaDB

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS

  • Extensive knowledge of RESTful APIs services

  • Working experience in no SQL Database such as Cassandra

  • Solid understanding of source version control (Github, GitLab)

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
