Job Description:
The ICU Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role includes managing nursing operations, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and implementing policies and procedures that enhance patient outcomes and staff efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management:
* Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
* Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure adequate coverage.
* Conduct regular training and professional development sessions.
- Patient Care:
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
* Oversee patient assessments, care plans, and treatments.
* Address patient and family concerns and provide necessary support.
- Administrative Duties:
* Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient and staff records.
* Prepare reports on staff performance, patient care, and unit activities.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
* Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resource availability.
- Quality Improvement:
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing services.
* Implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices.
* Conduct audits and participate in accreditation processes.
- Compliance and Safety:
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and ethical practices.

Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN);
* At least 12 units of Master's in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
* Licensure: Valid and updated nursing license - (PRC)
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
